Spotlight on the MOF in Qatar
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) in Qatar is now viewed in a whole new light. During the day, the MOF regulates Qatar’s financial policy and oversees public finances. Its responsibilities include the drafting and implementation of Qatar's annual budget, and the ongoing management and refinement of fiscal strategy, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
At the night, the modern architecture building on Doha Corniche built-in 1970 features a new outdoor lighting system from Acclaim Lighting for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. The lighting system features Dyna Drum EO and HO fixtures, along with Dyna Flood luminaries and a wireless control system.
Designed for dynamic illumination of facades, structures, landscapes, and monuments, Dyna Drum EO and HO are energy-efficient, IP 66-rated high-powered, quad-color architectural lighting fixtures with a wireless digital multiplex (DMX) control option. They include an adjustable yoke with an onboard 180-degree flip inverted digital control display for menu selections and addressing. Complementing the Dyna Drum fixtures, Dyna Flood is a high-power LED flood unit that utilizes quad-color technology with a choice of RGBA or RGBW. Dyna Flood also provides an auto-switching multi-voltage power supply and on-board touch-sensitive menu.
The lighting system is controlled by the Aria Wireless DMX system, a compact, local, outdoor-rated wireless DMX system that can act as either the sending or receiving point with 15 channels on the 2.4 GHz band. The internal wireless radio offers both automatic networking and signal routing optimization to ensure the best possible reception of DMX data. The Aria wireless DMX is supported by the RDS 600, an RDM/DMX splitter and optimizer with a wired digital communication network.
