Expanding Horizons

Acclaim Lighting expanded its reach into Europe, establishing Acclaim Lighting Europe B.V. to better serve architects and designers across EMEA. The company’s growing portfolio included award‑winning projects, from cultural landmarks to urban façades.

Back in Los Angeles, the US team moved into their new facility on Eastern Avenue, where they are still located today.

2012

First to Four

Acclaim Lighting became the first architectural‑lighting brand to ship a fixture built around a true high power 4‑in‑1 RGBW LED diode. Debuting in the ALQ Bar—and later refined for the ALQ Par—the quad‑color engine delivered perfectly balanced white alongside saturated color from a single source, eliminating color shadows and raising the bar for dynamic illumination.

2013

Dyna Deviation

In  2013 Acclaim jumped head‑first into high‑power white light with the Dyna Series. The Dyna HO series delivered best in class line‑voltage dimming and high output punch, giving designers clean whites without external drivers or bulky gear. It signaled Acclaim’s move from a broad color product offering to a serious architectural focus on single color options.

2014

Bending the Rules

With the debut of the Flex Tube family in  2014, Acclaim unlocked a fresh segment of the market: flexible, single and multicolor solutions that could trace curves, contours, and lettering other rigid fixtures couldn’t touch. The line’s plug‑and‑play DC architecture when paired with Acclaim's own AL Driver series made dynamic façades and signage practical for designers worldwide, cementing Acclaim as the go‑to partner for creative, bendable illumination.

2016

Cutting the Cord

In 2016, Acclaim redefined control with the launch of Aria Wireless, the first architectural lighting DMX system to pair a dedicated 2.4 GHz transceiver with integrated wireless receivers built directly into each Dyna Drum fixture. This dual approach gave designers total freedom: a plug-and-play transmitter for the building, and no need for DMX cables in the field. With Aria, wireless wasn't a workaround — it was the new standard.

2020

Modular by Design

In 2020, Acclaim went back to the drawing board and developed Acclaim Modular Systems (AMS)—a flexible design and manufacturing platform built to meet changing project demands with speed and scale. AMS allowed products to be configured on demand from a core set of modular components, dramatically shortening lead times without sacrificing options. The system debuted with Linear One, a complete reinvention of Acclaim’s white light linear offering, engineered for performance, speed, and spec-grade versatility.

2022

Unified.

In 2022, Acclaim introduced the Unity Series, raising the bar with a fully homogenized RGBAL (red, green, blue, amber, lime) five-color engine. Capable of producing saturated colors, precision-tuned whites, and dynamic white control—all from a single optical system—Unity offered specifiers unmatched flexibility in one powerful form factor. It was a bold leap forward in Acclaim’s commitment to quality, performance, and design freedom.

2025

Hello, again.

In 2025 Acclaim Lighting flipped the switch on a complete brand overhaul. A tighter wordmark, a fresh color palette built around a signature red  signaled a company ready for its next decade. The new system is grid based and modular, the same philosophy that powers Acclaim Modular Systems. Every touchpoint, from the updated website launch to all documentaiton, now speaks a single visual language that is bold, clear and unmistakably Acclaim. The rebrand puts customer experience first, and positions the company as the design‑driven leader it is.
