Acclaim Lighting Introduces Cylinder One Spectrum

Dynamic color, precision white light, and dim-to-warm in a single downlight for expressive lighting environments

Acclaim Lighting, a leader in innovative architectural lighting solutions, announces the release of the Cylinder One Spectrum™, a selfcontained, highperformance downlight engineered for medium to longthrow applications. Built on Acclaim’s trusted Cylinder One form factor, the new fixture integrates the celebrated Spectrum Five™ RGBAL light engine, delivering saturated color, pastel mixes, precise white light from 1800K to 6000K, and Acclaim’s Ai Dimdim-to-warm technology.

Cylinder One Spectrum offers a unique combination of performance and versatility, delivering high‑CRI architectural white light that preserves material accuracy and design intent while providing museum‑quality whites for refined, high‑end illumination. Its broad, nuanced color‑mixing capabilities enhance surfaces, materials, and spatial experiences, allowing designers to shape expressive environments with precision. The fixture also enables seamless transitions from clean, crisp white light to rich, dynamic color, supporting projects that require both technical accuracy and creative flexibility.

In addition to offering effortless control and seamless integration, Cylinder One Spectrum supports 0–100% dimming via wired DMX with RDM configuration for complete fixture management—including addressing, monitoring, and precise control. Furthermore, its built‑in Aria X2™ Wireless system enables flexible, cable‑free installation, with the next‑generation Aria X2 on the way.

Cylinder One Spectrum is part of the Acclaim Modular System (AMS), enabling faster lead times, streamlined configuration, and efficient installation. It offers flexible mounting options to suit a wide range of architectural environments, ensuring the fixture can be tailored to the needs of any space, including:

·       Type A – standard surface‑mount bracket

·       Type B – ¾-inch NPS pendant mount (12”, 24”, or 36” stem lengths)

·       Type C – aircraft cable suspension with 10’ cable, and

·       Type D – clean wall‑mount configurations.

An optional vaulted ceiling mount allows the fixture to be angled up to 60°.

Operating at 100–277 VAC, 50/60 Hz, Cylinder One Spectrum draws a maximum power of just 120W while producing up to 8,610 lumens and a peak output of 86,830 candela, depending on the selected optic. Quick-change reflectors provide 20° × 20°, 40° × 40°, and 65° × 65° beam options to shape light precisely for each project. Finishes include gray, black, white, or custom RAL colors, along with trim options of a full aluminum cutoff or an illuminated acrylic ring.
