The X-Chip Driver is designed to control the X-Chip 100 & 300 series. You can run a maximum of 120 chips on one driver, with a limit of 40 chips per each of the 8 outputs. There are 5 types of X-Chip Driver: X-CHIP DRIVER PCB This unit is a simple pcb with 8 outputs, assignable via the XB-R1 controller. X-CHIP DRIVER PCB TV Flicker Free version designed for TV and film applications X-CHIP DRIVER IN CASE Same as the PCB version but enclosed in a steel case. X-CHIP DRIVER IN CASE TV Flicker Free version designed for TV and film applications X-CHIP DRIVER IR This unit is built into a plastic case, includes on board dip switches for channel assignment (No XB-R1 required), and an IR Sensor and remote for plug and play applications .
